Graphene

The underlying technology of UPCX is Graphene, an open source blockchain technology developed by Cryptonomex. The Graphene source has been forked and adapted many times, resulting in numerous variations.

Graphene is designed to be highly scalable and efficient, capable of processing thousands to millions of transactions per second. It also has many advantages over traditional blockchains, such as real-time transactions, low latency, high throughput, and scalability.

While several high throughput blockchains are currently emerging, we believe that Graphene is the most stable and capable technology to process large numbers of transactions efficiently and quickly.

UPCX is using a customized version of Graphene as a base and will create an improved version of it that is even more suitable for payments and financial applications.
