— Web3 paves the way for a new relationship between fans and athletes —
UPCX-Platforms Pte. Ltd. (headquarters: Singapore, CEO: Makoto Nakano, referred to below as "UPCX") is pleased to announce that it has signed a sponsorship contract with professional boxer Ryuha Terada.
This contract was made as part of UPCX's implementation of a Web3 technology-based ecosystem as well as their Fanlink concept which represents a future of more direct, richer connections between fans and athletes.
World Aquatics Championships, Formula E and now Boxing
UPCX has been exploring the potential for combining Web3 and sports through sponsorship of sports competitions like the World Aquatics Championships and the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship (Formula E).
This contract with Mr. Terada is a continuation of those efforts, and we see it not only as a sponsorship but as another milestone on the way to creating next-generation experiences that connect athletes, fans, and technology.
